Domenico Modugno (LP)
A complete artist, singer first and foremost, but also actor and writer, Domenico Modugno achieved success in the most resounding and incredible way possible with the universally known "Nel blu dipinto di blu (Volare)" in 1958. From then on he began racking up one success after another, and the following year he again won at the Sanremo festival with "Piove (ciao ciao bambina)". Thus came out in 1959 one of his first self-titled collections with 12 songs including the very famous "Resta cu''mme", "Strada 'nfosa" and "Vecchio Frack". So many little "gems" that make us understand the skill and genius of our national Mimmo... a truly unique author and performer.

La vita, amico, è l’arte dell’incontro (LP)
Giuseppe Ungaretti, Sergio Endrigo, Vinicius De Moraes
"Life, friend, is the art of the encounter..." sang Vinicius de Moraes in 1969 on this wonderful album that includes not only splendid songs by Sergio Endrigo and Vinicius himself, but also poems declaimed by Giuseppe Ungaretti accompanied on guitar by Toquinho. This is surely one of the most beautiful records in our national music scene whose title is taken from a phrase contained in Samba delle benedizioni (Samba da benção). The work arose from the meeting of De Moraes and Ungaretti who, with the help of two superb songwriters and composers such as Endrigo and Toquinho, made the album in a few hours and a few recording sessions. The warning and moral of this magical encounter is, "...what counts in life in the end is learning to establish a positive and constructive relationship with others...."
